Raitola´s HUSKY experiences

We offer Husky Safari Experiences in the beautiful and exotic Lapland. Both beginners and families with children are welcome to join our safaris. Dog sledding adventures of different lengths take you through beautiful natural landscapes of Lapland.

About 150 friendly Alaskan Huskies are waiting for you on our farm. Come and experience the best things Lapland has to offer!

Our winter season starts 18th of November (if snow conditions allow).

Husky Services

Choose Your Husky Adventure

1 h Husky Safari

Self-driving husky ride of 7-10 km will take you through snowy forests. After the ride, you will meet your team of huskies and get a little introduction about the farm, hot drinks and cookies are served.

2 h Husky Safari

Husky ride of 12-17 km across the beautiful frozen lake and you will learn how to control the dogs. Meet the rest of the farm and hear stories about the farm and the huskies with a cup of hot berry juice and cookies.

Family Day - reindeers, huskies, snow fun and lunch

This is a perfect activity for your family – even the smallest children can join! Family day includes 800 m husky ride, 30 min reindeer ride and delicious salmon soup in our cozy restaurant.

Husky Farm Visit

You will sit as a passenger throughout this 800 m fast husky ride. Information about the dogs and the farm will be provided by the open fire with some hot drinks and cookies.

Full Day Husky Adventure

This is the experience you wont forget! Ride your own team of dogs for the whole day. Distance will be around 50-60 km, and the guide will prepare outdoor lunch midway of the tour.

At Reindeer and Husky Farm Raitola you will experience the thrill of reindeer and husky sledge rides.
