This reindeer and ice-fishing safari in Rovaniemi offers you an insight on how the real traditional life in Lapland used to be when you travel through the silent snow covered surroundings of Lapland in a traditional reindeer pulled sleigh to a frozen wilderness lake. Our guide will teach you how to drill a hole in the ice of the frozen lake and prepare the ice fishing rod and baits. Try some ice-fishing yourself to catch the fish of the day.
Ice-fishing is one of the most favourite hobbies of Finnish people. Did you know that ice-fishing belongs to every-men’s right here in Finland? Small Lappish campfire with sausages will highlight the day outdoors before returning by reindeer sleigh to the reindeer farm.

-Pick-up time from Santa Claus Holiday Village reception (Arctic Circle) is 30 minutes before the departure time.
-Pick up time front of Santa ́s Hotel Santa Claus (city center) is 45 minutes before the departure time.
If you are coming with your own car directly to Raitola, please come 30 minutes before the starting time of the excursion, in case you will need winter clothes from us. If you will not need winter clothes, then come 10 minutes before the departure time.
