Experience the best of the Arctic with two of the most popular activities – reindeer and husky rides – all in one unforgettable Safari! On this combined excursion, you’ll meet our friendly reindeer and enjoy a scenic, short reindeer-drawn sleigh ride. Hear fascinating stories about the life of reindeer herders, accompanied by a hot drink and a tasty bun.
Halfway through our adventure, we’ll stop for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, where you can relax and recharge. After lunch, get ready for an exhilarating husky sleigh ride through the stunning winter forest! You’ll have the chance to mush your own team of dogs for about 10 km, and along the way, you’ll learn interesting facts about Arctic animals and capture incredible photos to take home as souvenirs.
The average trail length is 10 km, but the ride duration may vary depending on weather conditions and participants’ experience.

Includes:
Winter clothing, visit to reindeer farm, 500m reindeer ride, Reindeer Driver’s Licence, information about reindeers, hot drink and a bun, salmon soup lunch with a coffee or tea and a berry pie, 7-10 km husky ride, husky sleigh 2adults/team, children in the sleigh, kennel visit, hot drink and cookies, information about huskies, guiding in English.
The activities are designed to offer the best experience possible; the order may change depending on conditions.
In the husky sleigh, there are two adults: one drives while the other sits in the sled. Halfway through, there is an opportunity to switch drivers. Driving instructions will be given in the beginning of the excursion, so no previous experience of dog sledding is needed.

-Pick-up time from Santa Claus Holiday Village reception (Arctic Circle) is 30 minutes before the departure time.
-Pick up time front of Santa ́s Hotel Santa Claus (city center) is 45 minutes before the departure time.
If you are coming with your own car directly to Raitola, please come 30 minutes before the starting time of the excursion, in case you will need winter clothes from us. If you will not need winter clothes, then come 10 minutes before the departure time.
