Safari overview
The friendly barks of the Alaskan huskies welcome you to the local husky farm in Rovaniemi!
As soon as the husky safari with these arctic dogs departs from the husky farm, these wonderful dogs quiet down and start to work and pull the dog sleigh. Enjoy the surroundings of the arctic nature and the husky sleigh ride on the snowy trails in silence. Stop for a break in the middle of nowhere and take photos while you enjoy the sceneries of Lapland.
In the husky sleigh, there are two adults: one drives while the other sits in the sled. Halfway through, there is an opportunity to switch drivers. The trail covers approximately 10 km, but the length may vary depending on weather conditions and the experience of the participants.
Driving instructions will be given in the beginning of the excursion, so no previous experience of dog sledding is needed.

-Pick up time front of Santa ́s Hotel Santa Claus (city center) is 45 minutes before the departure time.
If you are arriving with your own car directly to Raitola, please come 30 minutes before the starting time if you need winter clothing from us. If you do not need winter clothing, please arrive 10 minutes before the departure time.
